With your support throughout the years, we continued to steward our relationship with our beloved San Antonio community and even grow the impact of our restorative services.
AIT serves Native people and the community of San Antonio through three tracks of work: Health and Wellness, Community Engagement, and Indigenous Arts and Culture, offering culturally relevant services and projects around strengthening family, mentoring, birthing support services, restorative justice, healing circles, and civic engagement.
AIT’s cultural programming includes curating and operating the Spirit Waters Art Gallery, pop-up markets, Yanaguana Mission Tours, the Texas Heritage Project, and the Heritage Foods project.
Part of our Indigenous Arts program consists of family nurturing stories with Elder Grandma Coyote.
With our Family, Health, and Wellness services parents can learn from culturally rooted mentorship and classes provided by The San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign.
Students and at-risk youth can connect with our Rights of Passage program where they are introduced to opportunities that enhance their pursuit of a better future.
Every year we celebrate these wonderful advancements AITSCM has made by enjoying an Indigenous-curated heritage dinner and performances.
