Robert is a veteran teacher with over 20 years teaching experience, licensed by the Texas Education Association as a Bilingual Generalist educator grades 4-8 and English Language Arts and Reading grades 9-12. He is a first-generation college graduate, husband, and father who is passionately working to empower youth and move the world in a more positive, healthy direction.
Currently he is the coordinator of the Youth Leadership Development Team under the Office of Community Engagement where he teaches the Rights of Passage curriculum and collaborates with local schools and organizations in this work.
