A native son of Texas (El Paso), Tony Diaz lived in the City of Big Shoulders (Chicago) for most of his adult life. It was there that he met his life partner Mar and welcomed their two children Elizabeth and Andres into the world. As a graduate of Roosevelt and DePaul Universities, he learned that service is the key to a joyful heart. He holds degrees in History and Public Service Management.
After years of visiting the Lone Star state, his family chose San Antonio – the most beautiful and historic of Texas’ cities. Here, Tony brings to bear his nearly three decades of education and non-profit experience to better the lives of those he serves. His central focus is to “help make people whole”. For him, healing is both a personal and collective responsibility
